2026 MPK Softball Spring Registration

*If you are trying to move your child up or down a division and do not see the option available that means your child is too young for that division. Please fill out this form to request your child be moved up or down, player request form. If you are unsure what division your child should be in, please check here using our age calculator"

*Due to high interest in our program and limited availability you may be placed on the waitlist. To be fair to everyone, spots will be offered in the order they were joined. If you are on the waitlist and receive an invitation to participate, please confirm within 48 hours. Unconfirmed spots will be offered to the next person on the list. We truly appreciate your understanding as we strive to accommodate as many players as possible.*

*We are no longer allowing players under 5 years old to play in Shetlands.*

Nov 8, 2025 – Nov 15, 2025 (EARLY BIRD SIGN-UPS)

$225 per player ($200 Registration Fee + $25 Mandatory Raffle)

Nov 16, 2025 – Nov 29, 2025 (NORMAL SIGN-UPS)

$250 per player ($225 Registration Fee + $25 Mandatory Raffle)

Nov 30, 2025 – Dec 12, 2025 (LATE SIGN-UPS*)

$275 per player ($250 Registration Fee + $25 Mandatory Raffle)

*Uniform not guaranteed for first game if signed up after 1/6/2025.

*Family Discount: $10 off each additional sibling

BASEBALL AGES:

6U (Shetland): A player born after 4/30/2019 is eligible.
8U (Pinto): A player born after 4/30/2017 is eligible.
10U (Mustang): A player born after 4/30/2015 is eligible.
12U (Bronco): A player born after 4/30/2013 is eligible.
14U (Pony): A player born after 4/30/2011 is eligible.

SOFTBALL AGES:

8U: Age Classification: A player born after 8/31/2017 is eligible.
10U: Age Classification: A player born after 8/31/2014 is eligible.
12U: Age Classification: A player born after 8/31/2012 is eligible.
14U: Age Classification: A player born after 8/31/2010 is eligible.

FEES COVER: Jersey, Cap, Socks, Belt, Field Time, Field Maintenance, Insurance, Umpires, Game Balls

BIRTH CERTIFICATES: Are required to be uploaded during registration for all players.

Uniform Sizing Dec 5, 6, 12
Player Evaluations: Monday, Jan 5, 2026 — Friday, Jan 9, 2026
Practices will begin on Monday, Jan 12, 2026
The season starts Saturday, Feb 21, 2026 and thru Saturday, May 16, 2026
Opening Ceremony - Saturday, Feb 21, 2026
Closing Ceremony - Saturday, May 16, 2026

KEY SPRING SEASON INFORMATION:

Minimum One (1) practice a week (may vary depending on Team Manager and Field Availability)
Two (2) games a week (One weekday and One Saturdays & Some Friday Nights, Min of 18 Games Per Team (weather permitting))
Player Evaluations, all registered players will make a team
NO TRAVEL BALL TEAMS
Mandatory league fundraiser - $25 Mandatory Raffle per player (This is already added to the registration, you will receive raffle tickets at the start of the season)
Optional Dodger's night

MANDATORY UNIFORM SIZING: (New players are required to attend sizing, if you are a returning player, sizing is optional, please indicate your players jersey and hat size during registration)

Dec 5 & 12 - 5PM - 8PM
Dec 6 - 10AM- 12PM

General Note: Any teams participating in external competitions outside the league’s schedule must secure specific player funding to cover associated costs.

VOLUNTEERS:

Managers and coaches are needed. We are also in need of help with our Snack Bar, if you are interested please volunteer during registration, visit our Volunteer's Corner for more information on volunteering!

Every volunteer to complete the following:

Register yourself to become a volunteer, indicate what position and what division you'd like to volunteer for.
MPK Volunteer Release and Waiver (complete this to get background check),
California DOJ Live Scan (Comes from MPK Baseball and Softball) - 5 Minutes
JDP Background Check (Comes from [email protected] and JDP) - 3 Minutes
Cardiac Arrest Training (Comes from NHFS, every two years unless the first time with MPK) - 20 Minutes
Concussion Protocol Training (Comes from NHFS) - 20 Minutes
Protecting our Young Athletes from Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (Link Below) - 30 Minutes
Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, Volunteer Training (Link Below) - 2 Hours

Live Scan is good for 10 years, Cardiac Arrest for 2 years everything else is good for 1 year only.
