BASEBALL AGES:
  • 6U (Shetland):A player born after 4/30/2017 is eligible.
  • 8U (Pinto): A player born after 4/30/2016 is eligible.
  • 10U (Mustang): A player born after 4/30/2014 is eligible.
  • 12U (Bronco): A player born after 4/30/2012 is eligible.
  • 14U (Pony):A player born after 4/30/2010 is eligible.
SOFTBALL AGES:
  • 6-Under Age Classification - player born after 8/31/17, is eligible.
  • 8-Under Age Classification - player born after 8/31/16, is eligible.
  • 10-Under Age Classification - player born after 8/31/13, is eligible.
  • 12-Under Age Classification - player born after 8/31/11, is eligible.
  • 14-Under Age Classification - player born after 8/31/09, is eligible.

FEES COVER: Jersey, Cap, Socks, Belt, Field Time, Field Maintenance, Insurance, Umpires, Game Balls
BIRTH CERTIFICATES: Are required to be uploaded during registration for all players. 

IMPORTANTS DATES:
  • Uniform Sizing Dec 8, 9 15, 16
  • Player Evaluations: 1/8/2025 - 1/12/2025
  • Practices will begin on 1/15/2025
  • The season starts 2/21/2025 and thru 5/17/2025
  • Opening Ceremony 2/22/2025
  • Closing Ceremony 5/17/2025

KEY SPRING SEASON INFORMATION:
  • Minimum One (1) practice a week (may vary depending on Team Manager and Field Availability)
  • Two (2) games a week (One weekday and One Saturdays & Some Friday Nights, Min of 18 Games Per Team (weather permitting)
  • Player Evaluations, all registered players will make a team
  • NO TRAVEL BALL TEAMS
  • Mandatory league fundraiser - MPK Dodgers Night, date TBD

VOLUNTEERS:
Managers and coaches are needed. Please volunteer during registration, visit our Volunteer's Corner for more information on volunteering.

Every volunteer to complete the following:
  1. Register yourself to become a volunteer, indicate what position and what division you'd like to volunteer for.
  2. MPK Volunteer Release and Waiver (complete this to get background check),
  3. California DOJ Live Scan (Comes from MPK Baseball and Softball) - 5 Minutes
  4. JDP Background Check (Comes from [email protected] and JDP) - 3 Minutes
  5. Cardiac Arrest Training (Comes from NHFS, every two years unless the first time with MPK) - 20 Minutes
  6. Concussion Protocol Training (Comes from NHFS) - 20 Minutes
  7. Protecting our Young Athletes from Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (Link Below) - 30 Minutes
  8. Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, Volunteer Training (Link Below) - 2 Hours
  9. Email all certificates to [email protected]
Live Scan is good for 10 years, Cardiac Arrest for 2 years everything else is good for 1 year only.
